Restaurant and cafe website
A website for a restaurant, cafe or food truck: the menu with prices, opening hours, where to find you and a booking or order form.
Hungry people look up three things before they come: what is on the menu, whether you are open right now, and how to get there. A good restaurant or cafe website answers all three within seconds on a phone, then makes it easy to book a table or order ahead. Kodebloc can build one from a few lines about your place, or you can open a finished restaurant website and make it yours.
What to put on a restaurant website
- The menu, with prices. As text, not a photo of the paper menu. Text reads well on a phone, and search engines can see it when someone looks up a dish you make.
- Opening hours. Every day of the week, including the days you are closed and any kitchen closing time.
- The address and how to find you. The street, the nearest landmark, parking or transit. A food truck can show a weekly schedule of where it parks instead.
- Photos of the food and the room. Your own photos work best. Until you have them, the builder uses free stock photos and credits each photographer.
- A booking or order form. Ask for a name, a phone number, the date, the time and how many people. On a published Kodebloc website, each booking lands in your Messages inbox and is emailed to you.
- A few lines about who cooks. The chef, the family or the idea behind the place.
- Reviews. Short quotes from real guests. Never invent them.
Tips for your request
- Paste your real menu. Dish names, a short line on each and the price. If you leave it out, the AI writes a sample menu that you must replace before you publish.
- Say what kind of place it is. A candlelit bistro, a bright breakfast cafe and a taco truck need very different looks. Words like "dark and moody" or "sunny and friendly" help.
- Pick one main action. Book a table, order for pickup or call us. The AI puts that button at the top.
- Ask for a separate menu page if the menu is long. Choose Multiple pages before you build, for example Home, Menu and Visit. A short menu reads better on the home page.
Start from a ready-made restaurant website
These three are finished websites you can open as your own copy: a wood-fired restaurant with a full menu page, a neighborhood cafe that lists the day's bakes, and a taco truck with a weekly schedule and catering packages. Change the dishes, prices, hours and photos by hand or by chat. Their names and menus are made up, so put in yours before you publish. See all templates.

“A website for Nonna Lucia, a small family Italian restaurant. Warm and rustic look, our story, a menu of pasta, pizza and desserts with prices, opening hours for each day, the address, three guest reviews and a table booking form asking for name, phone, date, time and number of guests.”Build this
“A one-page website for a coffee cart that parks at different spots during the week. Bright and playful, a drinks menu with prices, a weekly schedule of where we park and when, a photo strip and a form to book the cart for an office or event.”Build this
“A one-page website for a modern ramen bar. Dark with red accents, the signature bowls at the top, a full menu with vegetarian options marked, the hours and address, a note that we don't take bookings for fewer than four, and a group booking form.”Build this
Keep the menu and hours up to date
Menus change with the seasons and hours change on holidays. Make the change in the builder, then update the live website: the address stays the same, so links on your social pages keep working. Before you publish, open Site settings and write the description people see on Google, for example the kind of food and the neighborhood.
