Made for a small batch ice cream shop by the sea. It reads like a summer afternoon: pistachio green, strawberry pink and waffle gold, round chunky type, arched photos and a dripping edge that ends each band.

A pistachio green hero announces Twelve flavours, churned this morning. beside an arched photo of a pistachio cone and a round photo of a strawberry one, above a wavy drip into cream. The signature board sets this week's twelve flavours on a cocoa panel, from Toasted Pistachio and Pine Honey to Coconut and Lime, each with a colour swatch, a one-line note and tags for dairy-free or contains nuts, with a short legend in two pill tags and an allergy note underneath. A waffle gold band then lays out the scoop prices for one, two or three scoops in a cone or a tub, from £3.50 to £6.60, with a £1.20 waffle cone and a £7.50 take-home tub.

How we make it follows owner Rosa Delahaye through a morning in four timed steps, from 6.30 milk delivery to an 11.00 cabinet, with photos of the tubs and the pistachios. A pink section sells ice cream cakes in 6, 8 and 10 inch sizes at £32, £45 and £58 with 72 hours' notice, and the Order an ice cream cake form asks for name, email, phone, collection date, size, two flavours, a message on top and allergies. Opening hours change by season, every day in summer, Wednesday to Sunday in spring and autumn and weekends only in winter, with a closed spell in January and February beside a beach hut photo, and the page ends on three short quotes said at the counter.
