Local service business website
A website for a salon, plumber, gardener or tutor: your services and prices, the area you cover, reviews and a booking form.
When someone needs a haircut, a leaking pipe fixed, a garden redone or a maths tutor for their child, they search, compare two or three names and contact the one that looks clear and trustworthy. Your website is often that first impression. It should say what you do, roughly what it costs, where you work and how to book, without making anyone call to find out.
What to put on a service business website
- Your services, with prices. Even a starting price ("from $60") or a range helps people decide. Group them if you have many, such as cuts, color and treatments.
- The area you cover. List the towns or neighborhoods. People searching for help nearby want to know straight away if you come to them.
- How it works. Three or four simple steps: get in touch, a visit or a quote, the work, the follow-up. It answers the questions people are shy to ask.
- Proof you are good at it. Before and after photos, qualifications, years in business and short reviews from real customers.
- Who you are. A friendly photo and a few lines. People are letting you into their home or trusting you with their child.
- A booking or quote form. Ask what the job is, where and when suits them. Messages from a published Kodebloc website land in your Messages inbox and are emailed to your account address.
Tips for your request
- Name your trade and your town. "A website for Clearflow, a plumber in Leeds" gives the AI the right words and look from the start.
- List your real services and prices. If you leave them out, the AI writes sample ones, and you must change them before you publish.
- Say what the form should ask. A salon needs the service and a preferred time. A tradesperson needs the address and a description of the problem. A tutor needs the subject and the student's year.
- Choose a tone. Calm and premium for a salon, solid and reliable for a trade, warm and encouraging for a tutor.
Start from a ready-made service website
Each of these opens as your own copy: a hair salon with a price list page, a plumber with fixed prices and the areas it covers, a garden designer with past projects and their budgets, and a maths tutor with a weekly timetable and a trial lesson form. Swap in your own services, prices, photos and reviews, which are all made up. See all templates.

Help people find you
Most people search for a service with a place name, like "dog groomer near me" or "plumber in Leeds". Use your town in the website's title and description in Site settings, and mention the areas you cover in the words on the page. If you are on Google Maps, you can start from your listing instead, so your hours and address match it. Read SEO for beginners for more.
