Music & bands
A quiet, warm one-page site for an Austin singer-songwriter who plays small rooms, weddings and house concerts. Butter yellow, slate blue and Playfair italics give it the feel of liner notes, and every section leads gently toward booking.
The page opens on butter yellow with a framed portrait printed like a photo on a white border, the name June Calloway set large in Playfair with an italic surname, and the new EP introduced as Porch Light, five songs for the hour after supper. Three small figures underneath give the song count, the 21:20 running time and the date of the next show. Below that the record gets its own section, laid out like a typed setlist: five numbered songs, from Porch Light to Keep the Screen Door Open, each with a running time and a single line about where it came from. Upcoming shows follow as a ruled list of six dates from January to April 2027, mixing listening rooms in Austin, San Marcos and Houston with three Porch Light house concerts that link to booking.
About is a short first-person bio beside a photo of a guitar resting on an unmade bed, with a pull quote and two facts. Hire June sets out weddings, private events and house concerts as three plain priced rows: a ceremony set at $850, an evening set at $1,600 and a house concert at $1,200, followed by notes on travel and the deposit. A full-width photo of a backyard dinner under string lights leads into two testimonials, one from a married couple and one from a house concert host, each signed with an initials badge. The last section is the Booking inquiry form, asking for name, email, event type, date, city, guest count and a message, next to a direct email address and phone number. The dark footer adds a press contact.
To make it yours, start with your name, record title, track notes and tour dates, then rewrite the bio and packages in your own voice and replace the photos with your own portraits and gig shots. The same calm layout suits a folk duo, a wedding pianist, a solo harpist, a cabaret singer or a spoken word poet.
