About the Ada Okafor for Student Council template

For a middle or high school student running for council who wants to win on plans, not slogans. Violet, sunny yellow and bubblegum pink give it the energy of a hallway poster, while every promise is laid out with a plan, a way to measure it and what it costs.

Ada Okafor for Student Council is a one page campaign site for a 7th grader at Lakeview Middle School in Columbus, Ohio. The violet hero shouts Small fixes. Big difference. next to a taped-up locker poster and a pink Vote on Fri, Feb 12 sticker, and a yellow strip repeats election day, Friday, February 12, 2027, with voting in the library at lunch. No photos show anyone's face: lockers, a cafeteria, sticky notes, a notebook and voting booths do the work.

The signature Three promises section gives each promise its own bordered panel with a photo and a big number. A lunch line that moves, lockers that actually open and an idea box that answers back each list the plan, how Ada will measure it, and what it costs the school, shown as a Nothing or Small tag with the figure, about $60 for latches or $25 for a box and corkboard. A dark section titled Less talking, more clipboards traces what she has already done from 6th grade fall to this winter, from a book swap shelf to 1,180 cans in a food drive. Five questions fold open in a Q&A, three classmates are quoted by initials only, and the Share an idea form asks for name, grade and the idea itself.

To make it yours, change the candidate, school, office and election date, write your own three promises with honest costs, and list what you have really done so far. The costed promise panels and bright sticker style also work for class president races, school club elections, youth council candidates, fundraising campaigns or a petition that needs people to share ideas.
